Every now and very so often, we long for that extra square centimetre of green and tranquility around us. One of our favourite one-day getaways is visiting the idyllic Spa town of Bath. Known for Bath Buns, its historic Roman Baths and distinct architecture; we can see why Londoners would love Bath to be part of 'zone 1'.
Of course, it wouldn't be a proper getaway if good food wasn't involved. Framptons recently opened its third venue on Grand Parade in the heart of Bath. So we popped by to shoot, eat & connect with the chefs.
Styling themselves as an 'all-day dining and drinking concept' the restaurant sources all its produce from local artisan suppliers with an eye for high quality and seasonal produce.
The menu highlights for us pescatarians was as follows: fish & chips, overnight oats with fresh fruit & honey, and pancakes with greek yoghurt & strawberries.
We could have spent another half a day at Framptons for its charming interior, which mesmerised us from bar to kitchen.
Have a happy Monday :)
